Prof. (FH) Köttl is a distinguished researcher and master programme director at IMC University of 
Applied Sciences Krems, leading the CROB research project. Köttl conducted her PhD studies within 
the EU H2020 ITN EuroAgeism project, exploring interactions of ageism and technology adoption in 
older adults. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive international experience, having lived and 
worked in Belgium, Switzerland, Togo, Bangladesh, and Israel as well as collaborated with leading 
global institutions such as UNECE and AGE Platform Europe. Her achievements include numerous 
first-author publications in top-tier journals and awards such as the President's Prize for Publication. 
Major milestones include the securing of independent funding for the CROB project and being invited 
by the EU Fundamental Rights Agency to prepare a key policy report on digital access for older adults. 
Dr. Köttl also contributes as Associate Editor to the Journal of Medical Internet Research.
