Abstract
In an era marked by unprecedented technological advancements, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force across various industries. One such domain experiencing a profound metamorphosis is the realm of travel information research. This research aims to provide insights into the exploration of these applications, shedding light on the intricate interplay between AI technologies and the intricacies of travel information. By employing an online survey, the use of AI for retrieval, analysis, and dissemination of travel-related information is assessed by studying behavioural differences among demographic characteristics, as well as the relationship between the use of AI tools in travel information search and perceived credibility. Preliminary analysis of a sample of some 52 respondents paves the way for intriguing discussions into the paradigm shift in the industry propelled by the integration of AI, revealing a multitude of possibilities, challenges, and ethical considerations that accompany this technological revolution.
