N2 - Low-code applications promise to lower the hurdles in designing domain-specific apps based on reusable components without prior knowledge of programming. Increasingly more and more platforms and tools are supporting this paradigm. However, as soon as they go beyond the state of prototypes and become part of the IT landscape, such applications start posing challenges in terms of design cultures, corporate processes, security, and performance. In order to ensure high-quality standards in low-code apps, one must implement quality assurance measures and enforce these rules. However, testing these apps in traditional ways seems to be infeasible, as the developers of these apps are not necessarily trained software engineers. This paper presents an approach for enforcing quality assurance measures on low-code apps, while also following the philosophy of low-code in the testing procedures.
