Welcome to the beating heart of health sciences – the Institute of Therapeutic and Midwifery Sciences.
This is where research is not just done, it is lived. With an impressive range of topics from education and digitalisation to quality of life, quality assurance, personalisation and pain management, we are always at the cutting edge.
Our mission?
Educating the next generation of healthcare professionals. Our bachelor and master degree programmes prepare our students for responsible roles in primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare. We place particular emphasis on providing knowledge and skills in the health professions as well as in science and research, technology and interdisciplinarity. That’s how we offer our graduates the opportunity to work successfully both as employees and as freelancers.
Study programmes
Our institute is home to a variety of study programmes. These include the Ergotherapie, Hebammen, Musiktherapie and Physiotherapie bachelor degree programmes, and the Angewandte Gesundheitswissenschaften und Musiktherapie master programmes. Each of these study programmes is unique and offers students the opportunity to discover and deepen their passion for health sciences.
