Digital Competence Monitoring in Production Companies

The NFB project on digital competence monitoring in manufactoring companies built on research on competence development and aligned it to Industry 4.0. The approach of the researchers of the IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt and the Danube University Krems was based on Design-Based Research. In the research project practical experiences of production enterprises were collected and evaluated. Thus a competence model was developed, which was tested and adapted on the basis of these tests. This ensured continuous improvement and practical relevance of the model. The project was funded by Niederösterreichische Forschungs- und Bildungsges.m.b.H. (NFB).
